Welcome to Northome School
As a community member, and Director of the DAC I truly appreciate all the opportunities Northome School gives our clients and staff to participate in their community.
The teachers at Northome School are the most caring people I know. Mr. Schneider the science teacher and track coach is nice and encouraging and always ready to help you become the best you.
Building positive relationships with students and families is a must. Northome School goes above and beyond to make sure that happens.

As we near Christmas break, we want to give students the opportunity to retrieve any belongings from the lost and found.
Please note, we will be clearing out the lost and found after our break. If you notice any missing items on the table, please call the office at (218-897-5275) and we’ll make sure to send the items home with your student on the bus.

Good evening Northome families. Due to the current weather and road conditions, we will be running a 2 hour delay for tomorrow, Monday, December 16th. Buses will pick up 2 hours later than their typical Tuesday through Friday times. There will be a grab and go breakfast available to students with classes starting at 10:30am. Thank you for our flexibility and understanding.

PARENT/GUARDIAN REMINDER: Procedure for making same-day changes to your student's bus schedule or route:
1) All same-day bus changes MUST be made by 1pm each school day. The office needs time to communicate to the bus garage, transportation manager and classroom teachers.
2)The MAIN OFFICE must be notified of all changes. Changes can be called in to the office or a note can be sent from home to the office. Calling or texting drivers and teachers in addition to the office is ok, but contacting the office is mandatory.
3) If your change is not called into the main office by 1pm, students will be sent on their regular bus route home.
Thank you for your help in this to keep our school running safe and efficiently.
